A leading name in high-end refurb, fit out and construction is seeking a skilled and recently graduated Building service engineer or Technical Services Manager with a balanced knowledge on mechanical and electrical to join thier dynamic team in London.
Role Overview: As an Graduate Technical Services Manager with a 50/50 split on mechanical & electrical knowledge, you will oversee the M&E aspects of the high-end fit out projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical and electrical systems. You will collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution from planning through to completion. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report into the lead Technical services Manager on site
- Manage and coordinate all mechanical & electrical services activities on fit out projects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assessments specific to M&E installations
- Liaise with M&E subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Provide M&E expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the project life cycle.
- Monitor the installation and performance of M&E systems, identifying areas for improvement to optimize efficiency and sustainability.
- Uphold a strong commitment to safety protocols, particularly in relation to M&E work, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Building Services Engineering / Technical services (or equivalent) or related qualifications
- No industry experince needed but an all round knowlege of both M&E is nessecary
- Ability to travel into London - On-site role, 5 days a week
