In this role, you will:
- Lead the charge on plant upgrades: You'll play a key role in designing, installing, and commissioning new electrical infrastructure for our plant's ongoing improvements. This will include working with 6kV Medium Voltage networks and Motors, Low Voltage networks and Motors, Instrumentation, and Control Systems.
- Solve problems and optimise performance: You'll troubleshoot electrical issues, assist in managing our preventative maintenance system, and contribute to planning major shutdowns and overhauls.
- Direct and collaborate: You'll guide contractors on specific projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Develop and maintain critical documentation: You'll play an important role in developing our electrical documentation and drawing system on site, including drafting and reviewing schematics.
As a graduate, you'll also have the opportunity to participate in the CRH management development program, which will provide you with valuable training and exposure to various aspects of the business. This program will help you develop your technical, interpersonal, commercial, and management skills.
What we're looking for:
- A 1.1 or minimum 2.1 honours degree in an applicable degree.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- A commitment to health and safety.
- The ability to take responsibility for and manage large-scale projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
