Key Responsibilities:
- Manage portfolio spend (3-8% of turnover) with a focus on direct procurement.
- Negotiate supplier terms, pricing, and mitigate risks.
- Develop cost-efficient sourcing strategies balancing quality and delivery.
- Lead cost reduction and improve supplier performance.
- Align procurement with business goals, working across teams.
- Provide market insights and manage procurement categories.
- Oversee contracting from supplier selection to final negotiation.
- Ensure supply chain resilience and on-time innovation delivery.
Success Metrics:
- Financial Impact: Manage £30-50M spend, contract approvals up to £1.5M.
- Operational Excellence: Optimise supplier, SKU, and factory performance, securing competitive pricing.
What You Bring:
- Proven success in supplier negotiation, cost reduction, and risk management.
- Expertise in procurement strategy and supplier performance.
- Proficiency in SAP and financial forecasting.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Direct procurement experience emphasising quality and cost efficiency.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: Up to £49,850.
