What You'll Do:
* Provide personalized support to individuals with complex needs, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and mental health issues.
* Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care (washing, dressing, assisting with toileting), ensuring dignity and respect for each individual.
* Work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
* Document your work effectively through clear and concise report writing.
* Travel within Cumbria/Kendal areas to support individuals in their homes or communities.
We're looking for Support Workers who:
- Are Compassionate and Dedicated: You have a genuine desire to help others and are committed to providing excellent care.
- Are Experienced: You have at least 6 months of experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Are Skilled in Personal Care: You are comfortable and confident in providing personal care with empathy and respect.
- Are Decision-Makers: You have the ability to make quick and sound judgments when necessary.
- Are Excellent Communicators: You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Are Reliable and Responsible: You have a strong work ethic and are committed to providing consistent support.
- Are Mobile: You have a valid driver's license and access to a car for travel throughout Cumbria/Kendal areas.
Bonus Points:
- PEG feed training: A valuable asset!
- PMVA training: We can provide this if you don't have it.
Earn a Competitive Salary:
£15 - £24 per hour
Additional Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS: Required for this role.
