The School
This school opened in January 2018, and is a co-educational day and boarding school for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 12 (VCE) Australian Curriculum School. The school partners with a very well known and highly respected Grammar school in Australia. Set in a fantastic campus space in a lush natural parkland with facilities that are second to none, the school is resourced to the highest level to support their focus on critical thinking, inquiry based approaches and commitment to life long learning excellence.

The school is located in Selangor near Kuala Lumpur. Whilst the immediate location can prove quieter - nearby Kuala Lumpur is known as the city that never sleeps. School Requirements
The school seeks to appoint a Senior School Principal commencing January 2025. With strong communication and collaboration skills as well as a proven ability to build a caring rapport with students, faculty, staff, and parents; the successful candidate will collaborate with a passionate and committed team, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, VCE Coordinator, Heads of Department, Senior School Teachers, Head of Boarding and the Director of VCE and Culture Advisor.
The Senior School Principal provides professional leadership and direction to all faculty and staff who work within the Senior School. The Senior School Principal will foster a holistic, forward-thinking, dynamic learning environment by providing visionary leadership in a collaborative manner. The Senior School Principal is responsible for all matters relating to Senior School education, especially the standard of achievement, the curriculum, and the quality of teaching and learning.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Share the vision, mission and core values of the School
- Have experience in international education, (preferably in South-East Asia)
- 3 or more years of experience in a senior leadership position. (Deputy/Senior School Principal experience, preferred)
- A trustworthy, cohesive, supportive, and progressive approach to leadership for faculty, staff, and students
- Cultural awareness, empathy, and diplomacy
- Strong administration skills
- Strong communication skills: written and oral
- Exemplary interpersonal relationships
- High level collaborative skills
- High expectations of teachers and students
- Creativity and solution-focused thinking
- Understanding student well-being
- Understanding of EAL
- Passion, energy, optimism, and a genuine interest in and commitment to inspire and serve students and parents, and the wider community

Salary and Benefits Package
- TBC: Teaching salaries range from 12,000 RM - 15,000 RM per month in a very low-cost living location, - excellent savings potential
