If so, Randstad are recruiting for Head of Service to join the Youth Offending Team in Trafford Council. This is a full-time role offering a range from £400-£450 daily.
About the Role:
This is a pivotal leadership role within Children's Services, responsible for strategic oversight and operational management of our Youth Offending Team. You will lead on developing effective interventions, reducing reoffending, and ensuring children and young people are supported to achieve better outcomes.
You'll work collaboratively with internal teams, partner agencies, and the local community to ensure a trauma-informed, restorative, and multi-agency approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Youth Offending Service
- Ensure compliance with national standards and statutory responsibilities
- Lead service development and improvement initiatives
- Manage budgets, performance, and quality assurance
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to influence policy and practice
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based intervention
Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
Experience:
- Children's Social Work
