Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Working Hours:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Overtime available at weekends
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH certification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Health & Safety Management
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ensure statutory obligations are met, including training and reporting
- Stay updated on Health and Safety legislation, implementing necessary changes
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits, promoting a positive safety culture
- Manage accident/incident documentation and follow-up investigations
- Organise fire drills and evacuation exercises, providing necessary training
- Coordinate the development of health & safety policies and safe working systems
- Chair Health & Safety Committee meetings, ensuring action points are completed
- Oversee the safe delivery of construction projects and external events on the estate
