Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a qualified and proactive High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support a well regarded Primary School based in March on a regular supply basis.
As a High Level Teaching Assistant , your role will include leading and managing the classroom, following the lesson plan set by the class teacher, keeping all students engaged with learning, building rapport with students and staff and providing feedback to the class teacher.
Responsibilities :
... - Support class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Lead small group sessions and 1:1 interventions
- Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress
- Contribute to the development of educational resources and activities.
- Provide cover for class teachers as required
- Promote the school's values and ethos through positive interactions with students, staff, and parents
Requirements:
- Hold HLTA (High Level Teaching Assistant) or an equivalent qualification
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad Education)
- Hold eligibility to work in the UK
- Have a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have strong behaviour management
