One of our excellent schools in Radlett is looking to fill a long-term post as a High Level Teaching Assistant.
As an HLTA, you will collaborate with instructors to organise and implement classes, assist with learning activities, and contribute to the creation of educational materials. Your great interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to experience empathy, patience, and resilience!
This is a full time, long term role that starts ASAP!

Your responsibilities as a HLTA:
- Working alongside teachers in the planning and preparation of daily activities,
- materials, and lessons according to curriculum.
- Supporting the day to day running of classes across the school, taking the lead in the absence of a class teacher.
- Assessing, recording and reporting on development, progress and attainment.
- Ensuring the safeguarding of all pupils.
- Liaise with parents and carers regarding their childrens' development.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures relating to safeguarding.
- Use positive behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policy and procedures to contribute to a purposeful learning environment
- Upholding the school's values and ethos
Your requirements to get cleared for this role:
- An Enhanced child DBS on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- GCSE Maths and English qualification minimum Grade 4 or equivalent is essential.
- The HLTA Diploma or equivalent Level 3/4 qualification or an equivalent skill level preferred.
- Able to make an impression on both us and our client
- Previous experience working in Schools, preferred
- Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner
- Good classroom management skills
