Role and Responsibilities
As the High School Biology Teacher, you will:
- Teach Biology to high school students, following the UK and IB curricula.
- Foster students' curiosity, scientific thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Inspire students to develop a passion for the life sciences and critical thinking.
- Support students in achieving high academic standards, preparing them for their IGCSE and IB exams.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall science curriculum and contribute to interdisciplinary learning.
- Encourage students' personal growth, fostering their ability to work independently and within teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fully qualified teacher with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
- Previous international teaching experience is desirable.
- Experience with English as a second language learners is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team of educators.
- Passionate about supporting students' academic and personal development in the sciences.
