Randstad Education is seeking a committed and reliable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support an excellent primary school setting located in Rotherham from September 2024. The school is looking for someone who is dedicated, adaptable and innovative in the classroom working to enhance student engagement and learning.
This role is a long term, on-going role which offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to enhance their skills, build networks with staff, and take their career to the next level.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities are:
- Support class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Lead small group sessions and 1:1 interventions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
- Contribute to the development of educational resources and activities.
- Provide cover for class teachers as needed, ensuring continuity in student learning.
- Promote the school's values and ethos through positive interactions with students, staff, and parents.
To be successful in the Higher Level Teaching Assistant role, you must:
- Hold HLTA or an equivalent qualification
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad Education)
- Hold eligibility to work in the UK
- Have a minimum of 6 weeks experience supporting Early Years/ Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have strong behaviour management
