This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a vibrant team and inspire students to engage with and appreciate history in a dynamic, supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach History to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, focusing on developing critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-based lessons that cater to various learning styles.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, department meetings, and professional development.
- Support students in reaching their full potential, both academically and personally, by providing guidance and encouragement.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management in line with school policies.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a mandatory requirement.
- A passion for teaching History and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a proven track record of student success.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the updated service and references.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.
