We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join our secondary school in Bradford. This full-time position is set to begin in November.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE in History or a relevant subject
- Experience teaching History at secondary school level
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic History lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with school policies
- Support students in developing a strong understanding of historical events, critical thinking, and analytically skills
- Contribute to the wider school community, including parent's evenings and departmental meetings
- Ensure all students are appropriately challenged and supported to achieve their full potential
