Key Responsibilities:
- Create, prepare, and present interesting and instructive history classes.
- Arrange and instruct pupils in interesting and thorough historical lectures.
- Evaluate and track student's progress while offering helpful criticism.
- Work together with coworkers to improve the curriculum and educational programmes.
- Take advantage of opportunities for professional advancement.
Core requirements to work as a history teacher:
- Right to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Status as a Qualified Teacher (QTS) or its equivalent with relevant teaching experience
- Must provide 2 proven professional references.
- Strong topics understanding combined with a love of history.
- Aptitude for motivating and inspiring pupils.
- While preferred, prior teaching experience is not required.
