What We're Looking For:
- A History Teacher with QTS
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history
- Excellent classroom management skills
- The ability to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in students
- DBS (or the willingness to apply for one)
- Right to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities :
- Designing engaging lessons that cover historical events, themes, and concepts.
- Using a variety of teaching methods (e.g., discussions, debates, multimedia, role-play) to cater to different learning styles.
- Integrating current events to show the relevance of history in today's world.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to participate.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively while promoting respect and engagement.
- Providing constructive feedback to help students improve their historical analysis and writing skills.
