About the Role:
As a HLTA in this supportive and dynamic environment, you will work with students aged 5-19 who have high-functioning autism. You'll provide crucial support to teachers across the primary or secondary age range, assisting with classroom activities, preparing resources, and contributing to annual reviews and reports. This is a chance to truly impact students' learning and development.
What You'll Need:
- HLTA Qualification (or a willingness to work towards obtaining one)
- GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English
- Knowledge and experience working with autistic students and applying effective teaching strategies.
- Adaptability, resilience, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- A passion for supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential.
