We are currently recruiting for qualified individuals with this skill set to support a variety of schools in the Kirkham, PR4 area from January 2025. The role of a HLTA is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil's achievement, progress and development.Our schools require a HLTA to lead the class covering a variety of PPA time, teacher absence, and TA support in an intervention or 1:1 form. Rates for this role on adhoc basis start at £15-17 per hour based on experience, long term roles will be paid to scale and will include wider responsibilities and long term commitment.
HLTA opportunities available are short term (6 weeks) and long term (12 weeks +) on a part time and full time basis offering 3-5 days work per week. All contracts are temporary.
