A small primary school in Leigh, Wigan, is seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. About the Role:

• You will be responsible for providing support to teachers and pupils across Year 1 to Year 6, assisting with a range of classroom activities, including:

* Supporting individual pupils with learning activities and interventions
* Providing small group instruction
* Assisting with classroom management
* Supervising pupils during activities

• You will work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
• You will be flexible and adaptable, able to work effectively in different classrooms and settings.
• You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with both pupils and staff.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
• Experience of working within a primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development

Details:

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
• Placement types: Day-to-day and long-term
