We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented HR Business Partner to join our Corporate & Schools team.
In this impactful role, you will:
- Partner with Managers and Headteachers: Provide dedicated HR guidance and support to managers and headteachers across the council, addressing their workforce needs and fostering positive employee relations.
- Lead Change Initiatives: Guide departments through organizational changes, including TUPE transfers, restructures, and service transformations.
- Champion Employee Development: Develop and deliver HR initiatives that optimize employee performance, engagement, and well-being, aligning with the council's People Management Strategy.
- Resolve Complex Cases: Provide expert advice and support on a range of employee relations issues, including discipline, grievances, performance management, and absence management.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date on employment law changes and HR best practices, delivering regular updates and workshops to stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
- Chartered CIPD Qualification OR equivalent experience demonstrating expert-level HR knowledge.
- Proven HR Generalist Experience: Demonstrate a track record of success in a demanding HR environment.
- Project Management & Employee Relations Skills: Experience delivering HR/OD projects, managing employee relations cases, and developing effective HR policies.
- Sound Knowledge of Employment Law: Possess a strong understanding of employment legislation and its practical application.
What We Offer:
* Competitive Hourly Rate: £20.48 per hour
- Full-Time Hours: 37 hours per week
