About the Role
This is a senior-level position focused on providing expert HR guidance and support to line managers and employees. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing HR policies, processes, and legal compliance.
- Overseeing employee life-cycle activities, including on-boarding, TUPE transfers, and change management.
- Delivering employee training, mentoring, and coaching programs.
- Supporting recruitment efforts and talent management initiatives.
- Maintaining and analysing HR data to improve processes and inform decisions.
- Collaborating with management teams to ensure a strong employee experience and support business goals.
This role involves travel between business units and participation in regular industry events, requiring a flexible and collaborative approach.
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an experienced HR Manager, Generalist, or Advisor seeking the next step in their career.
- Hold a minimum of CIPD Level 5 qualification (degree-level qualification desirable).
- Have strong knowledge of UK HR law and Health & Safety requirements.
- Be adept at problem-solving, conflict resolution, and data analysis.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Have experience in the construction, manufacturing, or similar industry.
