About the Role
Pay Rate: £130-£150 per day

Job Type: Temporary - full time
Start Date: Immediate
We are seeking a committed Humanities Teacher to deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, Philosophy, and/or Literature, depending on expertise and curriculum needs. You will foster critical thinking, empathy, and a love for learning in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, inclusive Humanities lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Foster analytical and reflective thinking through discussion, debate, and exploration
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback Create a positive, respectful classroom culture
- Contribute to curriculum development and school events
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and training
Requirements
- QTS/PGCE or equivalent
- Experience teaching Humanities to secondary school students
- Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- A passion for education and a student-centred approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
