Randstad are working closely with Cardiff Council to recruit for a pool of independent Form F Assessors. This is an Ad-Hoc post and can be done alongside full time employment, the assessments will be distributed on an as and when basis. You will be required to conduct comprehensive assessments of prospective foster families on behalf of the council.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Conducting Home Studies: Performing in-depth assessments of prospective foster carers including interviewing with family members, reviewing documentation and observing the family environment
- Information Gathering: Collecting comprehensive information about the applicants motivations for fostering, parenting skills, personal history
- Risk Assessments: Identifying potential risks within the applicants household and developing strategies to mitigate them
- Report Writing: Producing detailed reports that clearly present findings, analysis and recommendations to the agency foster panel
- Presenting to panel: Presenting assessment findings to the fostering panel, providing clear explanations and answering questions regarding the suitability of the applicants
