Key Responsibilities:
- Interface Coordination: Manage and facilitate the effective exchange of information and resolution of conflicts between diverse engineering, architectural, and fit-out teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary interface point for various project disciplines, fostering positive working relationships and ensuring alignment of objectives.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage interface risks and conflicts, ensuring timely mitigation strategies are implemented.
- Technical Oversight: Work closely with engineering, construction, and architectural teams to ensure technical interfaces are properly managed, preventing delays or disruptions.
- Schedule Management: Coordinate project time lines to ensure that all disciplines are aligned and deliverables are met in line with overall project milestones.
- Problem Resolution: Lead the resolution of complex interface issues and conflicts, utilising your technical knowledge and collaborative skills to keep the project moving forward smoothly.
About You:
- Proven experience as an Interface Manager, with a background in large-scale infrastructure or engineering projects, ideally in the rail, transport, or construction sectors.
- Strong technical understanding across a wide range of engineering disciplines, including architectural and fit-out processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships and resolve issues in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and a deep understanding of the challenges and intricacies of managing interfaces.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering on-time and on-budget results.
