About the Role & Responsibilities:
- We have a range of exciting roles available, including care in the community, care at home, and care home work.
- Experience working with a variety of service users is desirable, including those with learning disabilities, elderly, dementia, physical disabilities, and some challenging behaviour.
- You'll help and care for people who need support, building meaningful relationships and promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
- Explore the breathtaking beauty of the Scottish islands during your time off.
- Assist service users with daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, moving and handling, household tasks, and general domiciliary care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience, and a genuine interest in helping people.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a care home or in a community care/care at home environment
- Compassionate and caring towards others with a desire to help people
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to work under pressure and stay calm in stressful situations
- Strong ability to work independently and use your own initiative
- Moving and handling training and medication administration training
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
