Supplier Relationship Manager
Sheffield (Hybrid working 2-3 days in office)
3 - 6 Months Contract
£400 to £450 a day (Inside IR35)
I am working exclusively with a financial services organisation who are looking for an experienced Supplier Relationship Manager. You will be part of the Commercial Operations team and will be responsible for maximising the value and supplier effectiveness from a portfolio of supplier relationships from a cost, SLA, support and performance perspective. Identify opportunities and deliver improvements across key commercial relationships to ensure a great service is being delivered by our critical suppliers.
This role requires close liaison with the Finance, Procurement, Legal and Product Specific areas.
Essential Skills:
- To own the implementation of the Supplier Relationship Management Framework and work to embed this into the culture of the business, so that it becomes an integral part of business as usual activities.Manage and oversee all supplier service contracts to ensure continuous high levels of value and quality in service delivery and compliance with SLAs.
- To be the owner of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required
- To develop Supplier relationship Management processes across the business and be recognised as the subject matter expert.
- In conjunction with Procurement, carry out on-going reviews of supplier contracts to maximise contract benefit and optimise contract costs in a targeted fashion.
- Ability to analyse complex performance information & invoicing for all outsourced services.
- Excellent knowledge of working with and managing outsourced IT Service Providers.
- Good understanding of public sector procurement processes in general.
- Significant understanding of the specific laws relating to Public sector procurement and managing public money.
