We are looking for a dedicated KS4 & KS5 IT/Computing Teacher to join a secondary school in Leeds. This full-time position starts ASAP and will last for 6 weeks, with the opportunity to make a real difference in student's academic journeys.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching IT/Computing at KS4 and KS5 levels.
- Ability to teach A Level IT/Computing is essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Teach IT/Computing to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students, including A Level.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Ensure a positive and focused learning environment, managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school events.
