We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated joiner to join our clients maintenance team. This role involves carrying out maintenance work on domestic properties across the Darlington area, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of joinery tasks including but not limited to fitting doors, windows, skirting boards, and other woodwork in domestic properties.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work as directed, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively with other trades and contractors to ensure efficient and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Respond to emergency call-outs when required.
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Joinery or Carpentry.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a domestic maintenance environment.
- CSCS card holder.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
