We are seeking a skilled and dedicated joiner to join our dynamic repairs and maintenance team for a 3-month contract. Our client, a well-respected social housing provider, is based in Seaham and is committed to delivering high-quality service to their residents. This role involves a variety of joinery tasks, including occasional floor replacement jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of joinery tasks within social housing properties.
- Address repairs and maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
- Undertake occasional floor replacement projects.
- Ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Communicate effectively with tenants and other team members.
- Maintain and care for a company-provided van and tools.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a joiner, preferably within a social housing environment.
- Valid CSCS card.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent within the trade.
- Strong skills in various joinery techniques and tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Full UK driver's licence.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks as needed.
