We are looking for an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher to teach a class of Year 1 pupils in the Blackpool area as soon as possible.
The successful candidate must hold a QTS (teaching degree or equivalent.) For long-term roles, the pay rate will be discussed at the interview stage. Please be aware that an interview or observation with the school may be required as part of the application process.

Key responsibilities:
- Planning work as appropriate guided by the school (if in a longer-term position)
- Deliver day-to-day planning to deliver high-quality effective lessons.
- Upholding the school's ethos and values.
- Familiarise yourself with behaviour management systems and policies, ensuring these are implemented.
- Marking work that is completed during the day.
- Maintaining up-to-date records of students' progress and attainment.
Please note that candidates who do not meet the essential criteria for this role will not be considered.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (QTS, PGCE etc)
- Thorough knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculums.
- Recent and relevant experience.
- Two references from the last five years (one must be a full child-based safeguarding reference.)
Desired:
