Job Title: Kitchen Porter Supervisor
Location:Churchill Hospital, FM Office Level 1 Church Hospital Headington OX37LJ
Duration: Temp-Perm
Working Hours: 4 days on and 4 days off - 6am - 6pm
Pay: £13.79 per hour
DBS: Enhanced - dated in the last 3 months
Main Duties:
- Oversee the daily cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen, including floors, walls, equipment, and work surfaces.
- Train and supervise a team of kitchen porters, ensuring they follow proper hygiene and safety procedures.
- Allocate tasks to kitchen porters, ensuring all areas are cleaned effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure that all cleaning materials and equipment are properly stored and used.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Assist with the washing and sanitizing of dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
- Collect and dispose of waste in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Ensure that all food preparation and storage areas comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Communicate effectively with chefs, managers, and other staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Stock cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as required, such as preparing vegetables or cleaning equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirement:
Must have Kitchen porter supervisor experience and an updated enhanced DBS
