Although this is a permanent position, the school is open to offering a long-term temporary role that could transition into a permanent opportunity if preferred. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the needs of KS1 pupils.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning, independence, and confidence.
- Work closely with support staff to provide individualised education plans (IEPs) that meet each child's needs.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to support students' progress and well-being.
- Create a safe and stimulating learning space that inspires curiosity and joy in learning.
- Monitor and report on student progress, celebrating achievements and identifying areas for development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
- Proven experience working with children in a KS1 setting.
- Eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions.
- Should possess a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one.
- A strong understanding of the Code of Practice and effective strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
- A genuine commitment to helping every child achieve their potential.
