Randstad is looking for qualified KS2 Teachers to work in Primary Schools in Wigan. We are seeking experienced educators for day-to-day and longer-term roles. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in working across various year groups. Available positions will be discussed, and candidates will be matched based on their experience and skill set. Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum is important. Your dedication will be instrumental in creating a thriving learning environment for our students.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs.
- Dedicated interest in children's education and creating the best learning environment.
- Positive outlook and attitude.
- Knowledge of various teaching methods.
- Good organisational and verbal communication skills.
- Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons
- Using your own subject knowledge and teaching skills to bring set work to life
- Managing the behaviour within the classroom

Essential requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
- Classroom experience.
- Experienced with KS2 Teaching and children
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Relevant professional teaching references
- Being passionate about teaching and learning
- Two references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
Desired:
