Your Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised instruction and support for KS3 and KS4 students with SEN, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, SEN coordinators, and external specialists to enhance the overall educational experience for SEN students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns.
- Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods and materials as needed to meet individual learning needs.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of SEN strategies, curriculum modifications, and effective classroom management techniques.
Your Qualifications:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience working with KS3 and KS4 students with SEN, preferably in educational settings.
- Showcase strong communication skills, promoting teamwork and collaboration in diverse situations.
- Express a genuine passion for working with SEN students and fostering their academic and personal development.
- Possess knowledge and experience in SEN curriculum development and individualised instruction.
- Exhibit adaptability to handle diverse and challenging situations effectively.
