We are currently seeking Labourers with groundworks experience to join our dynamic team for a construction project based in Barking, East London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of groundwork tasks in a busy and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with excavation, trenching, and drainage work.
- Preparing and maintaining site areas for groundwork activities.
- Lifting, carrying, and handling materials.
- Operating basic hand tools and equipment safely.
- Assisting skilled tradesmen and site supervisors with daily tasks.
- Ensuring the site is clean, safe, and well-organised.
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in groundworks and labouring on construction sites.
- Knowledge of basic construction and groundwork techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to handle manual labour and heavy lifting.
- CSCS card.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and site protocols.
- Good timekeeping and reliable.
