We are seeking a reliable and hardworking general labourer to join our team on a large-scale construction site in York, starting immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced project with ongoing work.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as site clearance, material handling, tool preparation, and general upkeep
- Loading and unloading materials, including heavy lifting as required
- Operating basic machinery and tools under supervision
- Maintaining a clean and organised worksite
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Working effectively as part of a team and contributing to a positive work environment
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working as a general labourer on construction sites is preferred
- CSCS card
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- A positive attitude and a commitment to safety
