We are seeking a Lead Speech and Language Therapist to take a key role in developing and delivering high-quality communication support for students with SEN, SLCN, Autism, and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and develop the speech and language therapy provision within the school.
- Conduct specialist assessments and intervention planning.
- Train and mentor junior therapists and teaching staff.
- Implement whole-school communication strategies.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support students' development.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist with at least three years' experience.
- Background in SEN, Autism, and complex communication needs.
- Experience delivering staff training and mentoring.
- Knowledge of AAC, PECS, and specialist communication techniques.
