Responsibilities
- Lead curriculum development in RPE/PSHCE, ensuring it meets statutory requirements.
- Promote a culture of respect, kindness, and inclusion within the department.
- Lead and motivate a team of RPE/PSHCE teachers, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Regularly monitor and assess the progress of students.
- Manage curriculum resources efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure safeguarding is central to all department activities.
- Liaise with the Curriculum Leader to review and adapt the curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, achievements, and assessments.
- Coordinate the department's professional development and CPD needs.
- Assist in the development of the RPE/PSHCE Development Plan.
