About the Role:

Randstad are working with RCT to look for an experienced Agency Social Worker to join our Intensive Intervention Team on a temporary contract. In this critical role, you will work directly with children and families who are facing significant challenges and require intensive support to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of children and families in need of intensive intervention, including those at risk of harm, children on Child Protection Plans, and those on the edge of care.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying needs, risks, and protective factors.
• Developing and implementing robust care plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners, ensuring the delivery of targeted interventions.
• Undertaking direct work with children and families, offering practical and therapeutic support aimed at improving outcomes.
• Attending and contributing to child protection conferences, court proceedings, and multi-disciplinary meetings.
• Monitoring and reviewing cases regularly to ensure effective intervention and positive change.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Care Wales.
