About the Role:
You will be part of a team responsible for:
... - MACH: Providing expert assessment and support to families in need, working alongside colleagues from various agencies including police, health, education, and other social care professionals.
- Assessment: Conducting thorough assessments of children and families referred to our services, developing individualised care plans and interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying their needs and risks.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and families to deliver high-quality services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures within the team.
- Advocate for the needs of children and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, BA Hons in Social Work, or equivalent).
- Social Care England registration.
- Experience working in a MASH or similar multi-agency environment.
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective care plans.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
- Commitment to working collaboratively and with a child-centered approach.
