I am excited to announce that we are seeking proactive and reliable Maintenance Supervisors to join our network of education teams and ensure the smooth running of our schools premises in Blackburn.
In this key role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of our school buildings and grounds. You will play a vital part in creating a positive and well-maintained environment for both staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance and repair work across the school premises.
- Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met in line with school policies.
- Manage and carry out routine inspections of the site to ensure all facilities are in excellent condition.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, contractors, and external service providers.
- Respond promptly to emergency repairs and maintenance requests.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of materials and equipment.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all staff, students, and visitors.
What do we need?
- Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role (preferably in a school or similar setting).
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Effective communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
