A leading construction business with £1B+ turnover, are looking for a driven and self motivated Management Accountant to join their successful London Docklands team. The role will be varied and challenging, with the opportunity for you to bring your own fresh perspective to the role, as well as taking on more responsibility as you learn and grow professionally. You will be working closely with the commercial team and be involved with budgets and forecasting, so strong communications skills are essential for the role. This role would suit a Part Qualified or Newly Qualified candidate looking to build their career.

Responsibilities to include:

-Ownership of the monthly contract reporting process ensuring overall accuracy and delivery to timetable.
-Monthly review and challenge of the contract reporting packs provided by commercial to ensure accuracy of data.
-Work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and Finance Director in the preparation of the monthly divisional and holding company trial balances, associated reports and analysis.
-Work with the commercial team in the provision of cash flow and contract performance data as and when required.
-Reporting of the group debtor / cash positions.
-Support the Senior Finance Manager in the preparation of the annual budget.
-Support the Finance Director in the annual audit of the group.
-Working with the Finance Director / Senior Finance Manager to implement and maintain all processes and controls for the finance function and to further develop the finance team.
-Build relationships with the stakeholders of the finance function and the wider business.
-Deputise for the Senior Finance Manager as and when required.
