Salary: £61,116.53 (inclusive of 35% holiday bonus for 33 days per year; 25 vacation and 8 bank holidays)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00-15:30 and Friday 7:00-12:30

In this role, you'll:
- Lead the charge in identifying and implementing data-driven solutions to optimise plant efficiency and drive operational excellence.
- Extract, transform, and analyse complex manufacturing data to uncover valuable insights and support critical decision-making.
- Develop and maintain interactive data visualisations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders across various departments.
- Collaborate with our central innovation network and global data analytics teams, serving as the plant's data science expert and champion.
- Lead the development of a dynamic data science team within the plant, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a Data Scientist with:
- A strong foundation in data analytics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, physical sciences, or a related field, with experience in a similar engineering/automotive environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with a track record of providing data-driven solutions to manufacturing challenges.
- Expertise in automating data pipelines and using Big Data Analytics tools, with experience in cloud databases.
- Solid proficiency in SQL and Python programming, with a deep understanding of current and emerging data technologies.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to embrace data-driven decision making.
- A resilient and positive attitude, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
