About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, driven Manufacturing Engineer to support increasing production volumes and the launch of an exciting new engine series. This is a great opportunity to make an impact on high-profile manufacturing projects, focusing on assembly process optimization, line balancing, and tooling improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Support production, quality, and safety compliance across manufacturing processes
Drive volume ramp-up and line readiness for new product introductions (notably the 5000 engine series)
Create and implement process documentation and standard work
Lead time studies and line balancing
Specify, develop, and implement tooling and fixturing solutions
Analyze engineering changes and implement process adjustments
Engage in continuous improvement and lean initiatives
Conduct safety inspections and contribute to a strong HSE culture
Support and lead problem-solving activities in the production environment
Key Requirements
3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering environment (2 years acceptable with strong assembly expertise)
Strong skills in process definition and documentation
Experience in time balancing and work content studies
Tooling and fixturing design experience
Confident communicator with a "go, see, act" mentality
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or MES systems a plus
Degree or equivalent experience required
IOSH Managing Safely certification desirable
