We have an initially temporary position within Aggregate Industries. This role is ideal for a Marketing/Communications professional looking to support an organisation in delivering the message on their mission to deliver sustainable and trusted products to the construction industry.
Role: Marketing Communications Coordinator
Location: Aggregate Industries, Bardon Hill, Coalville LE67 1TD
Rate: up to £40,000 per annum dependent upon experience
Contract length: 9 months initially with the view to extend or offer a permanent position
Shift Patterns: 08:30-17:00 with a 60 minute paid break (37.5 hours per week)
Start: ASAP but by 1st April 2025
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Senior Marketing Business Partner, offering support as required
- Implementing the marketing strategy and creating compelling marketing communications
- Ensuring communications attract and retain customers whilst building brand recognition
- Delivering multi channel communications
- Supporting external communications and delivering the message on sustainability and innovation
- Proofreading marketing communications ahead of publishing
- Updating the department activities calendar
- Supporting with community liaison and ensuring a positive presence within the media
- Monitoring and reviewing competitor activity
- Overseeing campaigns and monitoring their performance
- Ensuring spend remains within budget
- Working with internal stakeholders and the relevant business units to deliver communications
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience within a Marketing and/or Communications position (2+ years)
- Strong interpersonal skill with the confidence to interact with the public and all level of employee
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- The ability to think creatively and strategically, with the customers needs at heart
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong IT literacy
- Good time management and ability to prioritise effectively
- Desire to learn and proceed with new responsibilities
- Motivation towards working on own initiative but also as part of a team
Desirable requirements:
- Driving license and use of a car
- Experience delivering marketing communications for organisations going through re-brand or change
- Educated to Degree level in Marketing or similar discipline
