As a Material Planner, your tasks will include:
- Monitoring materials planning panels daily to ensure supply meets demand.
- Managing purchase orders to ensure products are available on time.
- Updating supplier order boards and maintaining accurate planning system data.
- Handling purchase order changes to optimise lead times.
- Supporting Customer Order Management teams with accurate planning information.
- Participating in planning meetings to review and align open orders.
- Collaborating with plant account teams to ensure accurate lead-time data.
About You:
We're looking for someone with a strong background in materials planning and a solution-oriented mindset. Key competencies include:
- Communication: Effectively delivering clear information to various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Tackling complex challenges with ease.
- Global Perspective: Approaching issues with a big-picture view.
- Process Optimisation: Streamlining operations to achieve efficiency.
Your Expertise:
- Experience: 5-7 years in materials planning, production scheduling, or inventory control.
- Skills: Proficiency in materials planning systems and tools such as PFEP, Excel, and other analytics platforms.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or relevant training are a plus.
