We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our team in Wigan! In this role, you will help KS3 and KS4 students improve their skills. You'll receive a competitive daily pay based on your qualifications and experience. We can't wait to have you on board.
In this position, you will support students to learn and develop their mathematical skills. You will foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence in problem-solving. You should also be able to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
- Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
- Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
- Punctual and reliable

- Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment

Personal Attributes:
- You will have a genuine passion for teaching
- Experience up to key stage 3/4
- QTS/PGCE equivalent
- Be flexible and committed
