About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and talented Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hailsham, starting in September. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to teach a diverse range of students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5) in a school that values academic excellence and the holistic development of every student. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Teach Key Stage 5 Maths (if applicable)
• Design and implement creative lesson plans that cater to all learning styles
• Prepare students for GCSE Maths exams
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress regularly using formative and summative methods
• Provide constructive feedback and set achievable targets for students

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, with the ability to teach across all key stages
  
  
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  
  
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  
  
• Recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
  
  
• Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum for Maths
  
  
• Ability to teach GCSE Maths (and A-Level Maths if applicable)
  
  
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  
  
• Eligibility to work in the UK
  
  
• Strong understanding of assessment methods and strategies
  
  
• Experience of working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities
