The Role :
We are looking for a passionate Maths Teacher to work at a well regarded SEN School based in Thetford. As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and tailored Maths lessons to students with diverse learning needs. You will create a positive, nurturing classroom atmosphere that fosters confidence and enthusiasm for learning. You will also collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to implement personalised learning plans.

Requirements :
- QTS is preferred but not essential.
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- DBS (or the willingness to apply)
- Strong background in Maths.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and a passion for helping students succeed.
Your Responsibilities :
- Modify lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Create individualised Learning Goals: Develop and implement personalised learning objectives for each student based on their specific needs and abilities.
- Adapt the National Curriculum to fit the needs of students with SEN.
- Deliver engaging and accessible Maths lessons that cater to varying levels of ability and understanding.
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and other support staff to ensure that students receive the necessary support during lessons.
- Foster a classroom atmosphere that is welcoming and inclusive for all students.
