Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor - £400m+ Data Centre Project in London
About the Role:
I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a specialization in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) for an exciting and challenging project - the construction of a £400m+ data centre in London. This is for one of the leading top-tier main contractors, they pride themselves on delivering high-profile and complex projects that push the boundaries of innovation and excellence.
The Project:

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all M&E quantity surveying packages for the data centre construction project.
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Oversee procurement processes, including tendering and contract administration.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure cost control and project efficiency.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and contractual obligations.
- Monitor progress, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management and clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in large-scale construction projects, with a strong focus on M&E.
- In-depth knowledge of M&E systems and their financial implications.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project requirements.
- Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.
