Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
On-Call: 1 in 4
Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Static Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in mechanical maintenance and engineering to work on a stable and varied range of equipment. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical systems, ensuring that operations run efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly and effectively.
- Carry out mechanical modifications, installations, and improvements as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide reports on maintenance tasks, including findings and resolutions.
- Work as part of a team to ensure high standards of service delivery and operational performance.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering or maintenance, preferably within a commercial or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.).
- Previous experience working in a static role would be an advantage.
